- The player behind the book character should remain anonymous. Don't tell someone from your alt what book character you play, and vice versa.
- Do not use your book character to advance or help your alt in any way, unless the RP dictates it. Ask an immortal for assistance if something is difficult to avoid.
- Make yourself available for RP whenever you are on your book character. Bookies should be considered "Seeking" at all times. Unless, of course, already in RP.
- If a book character dies during the course of normal RP, that position will be "open". If it is a key character from the storyline of the books, don't worry - the pattern will find a way to correct.
- If you feel the story of a given book character has strayed too far, and wish to rename it - let an immortal know and perhaps the RP can be transferred to a newly created alt.
- Too many complaints about RP that doesn't fit the character from the books may result in loss of your book character.
- Darkfriend book characters may not suddenly decide to "walk in the light" (with few exceptions - Ingtar, Verin). Similarly, good characters may not suddenly swear to the Shadow. (Unless, somehow, 13 dreadlords and halfmen are found for an RP!).
- Book characters should not stray too far from their "In Character" location as found in the books. Agelmar Jagad should not be found in Caemlyn, for example.
- Some book characters may have different backgrounds, based on previous RP on Reflections of the Wheel. Previous users of a character will not have their RP nulled - try to get as much information from an Immortal as possible about differences.
- GLs may have special requirements for book characters within their guild - always check with them.
